ABOUT ME

“Fashion is not something that exists only in dresses. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what's happening.” - Gianni Versace
My process as a fashion designer is a constantly growing artistic evolution. Since I was a child, art has been an essential part of my life, exploring disciplines such as theater, music and drawing. These experiences have not only nurtured my creativity, but have also shaped the way I perceive design as a form of expression. My fascination with history has allowed me to delve into fashion from a cultural and narrative perspective, giving me the tools to create pieces that not only dress, but also tell stories. Through research and experimentation, I have developed a versatile style that is not pigeonholed into a single aesthetic, but flows with each project, adapting to its essence and purpose.
Film and history are my main sources of inspiration, which has strengthened my connection with stage costumes and their ability to transform characters and scenarios. My love for research and analysis drives me to continue learning and collaborating with major production companies, fusing my experience in fashion with my knowledge in front of the camera. In each design, I seek to create pieces with their own identity, exploring shapes, colors and silhouettes so that each garment has a visual and emotional impact. Beyond following a fixed aesthetic line, my goal is that each creation has a unique stamp and becomes an extension of the wearer, transmitting its essence and personality from the first glance.
Formacion y Habilidades
Photography & modeling
Throughout the career, we have acquired the fundamentals of photography, both analog and digital, exploring its technique and application. I had the opportunity to work in the university workshops, where I learned to capture conceptual and catalog/product images, understanding the importance of light, composition and visual narrative.
In addition, I worked as a model in my own and my colleagues’ projects, which gave me a new perspective on the staging of garments and the intention behind each design. This experience allowed me to understand in a deeper way how fashion communicates and is lived through the person who wears it.
Textile processes
I learned to manipulate the fabric to achieve different textile processes, such as color, texture and print changes. I experimented with screen printing, dyeing and other techniques, exploring both natural methods -using fruits and organic elements- and industrial dyes to obtain different textile finishes.
In addition, I worked with embroidery and textile manipulation techniques based on thread and needle, creating textures that bring more life and dimension to the garments. On the other hand, I used digital tools such as Illustrator to design modules and coordinates, allowing me to develop prints in a structured and creative way.

Design tools
I have an extensive knowledge of various design tools, which allows me to create artistic compositions such as moodboards, color palettes and visual concepts for different projects. My experience in fashion illustration covers both technical sketches and color renderings, ensuring a clear and detailed communication of the design.
In addition, I have skills in photo editing, optimizing images for campaigns, editorials and digital content. My knowledge in editorial design and layout allows me to visually structure different formats, from magazines and catalogs to professional presentations, ensuring a balance between aesthetics and functionality.
Extracurricular activities
Theater
Since I was 10 years old I have practiced theater, which awakened my interest in costume design. I have participated in several plays, both at school and in the theater group of Funza, where I live. Through this experience, I have explored the history of theater and its connection with humanity, as this art form reflects how we lived and how we live. In addition, I have had the opportunity to create performances and experiment with experimental theater.

Artistic exploration
I have always felt a strong connection with art, which has led me to explore different forms of expression that, in turn, inspire and enrich my design process. I have experimented with painting, drawing, photography (analog and digital), ceramics, makeup, weaving and other techniques, always looking for new ways to create and communicate through art.
